We encourage our players and parents to actively participate in this team sport. This can be achieved by managing& teams, coaching teams, and refereeing games at school, club, state and National levels. Our current participants range from juniors (11 yrs) to seniors (63 yrs), male and female. We enter teams in the local state league competition held at the Adelaide Aquatic Centre, Saint Peters College Pool and Marion Aquatic and Leisure Centre.

The Henley Water Polo Club is the oldest Water Polo Club in South Australia having been one of the original founding clubs in 1953. Originally located at the old salt-water pool at Henley Beach, today the Henley Sharks are based at the new, state of the art South Australian Aquatic & Leisure Centre at Marion. Henley Sharks Water Polo club has members competing in both the national and state competitions, and has developed champions of the sport who have gone on to represent Australia at both senior and junior levels. We run Come n Try clinics twice a year and welcome new people to any training session.
